Summer School Day 3

19th August 2026 - Summer School Day 3 ☀️🏫

What an incredible Day 3 at Summer School! Today was all about outdoor adventure and practical skills as our #Cohort2031 students took on our action-packed Duke of Edinburgh Challenge Day:

⛺ Tent Building & Survival Skills: Teams worked together to master the art of putting up tents, building great communication and problem-solving skills along the way.
🧩 Orienteering: Students put their orienteering to the test, hunting for clues and navigating their new school as they took on team challenges at every checkpoint.
🚩 Capture the Flag: High energy, strategy, and pure determination on the field for some epic afternoon games!

It has been brilliant to see their independence shine today as they continue to make new friends, build confidence, and live out our Kingsdown BEATs. Bring on Day 4!
