Summer School Day 4

20th August 2026 - Summer School Day 4 ☀️🏫

What a creative and collaborative Day 4 at Summer School! Today our new year 7 students put their problem-solving and artistic skills into full gear:

🤖 Lego Robotics: Groups built and programmed Lego robots, then learnt how to control them to complete challenges!

🤝 Teamwork Challenges: Students tackled a series of interactive team tasks, working together to overcome obstacles and strengthen their friendships.
🎭 The Lion King & Mask Making: In preparation for tomorrow’s grand finale assembly, students dove into their Lion King education session and got creative designing and making their very own lion masks!

It has been amazing to see their enthusiasm and imagination shine today as they live out our Kingsdown BEATs. We can’t wait to celebrate everyone’s achievements at tomorrow’s end of Summer School assembly!
