Year 11 Mock Interviews
Kingsdown School offers the opportunity for all Year 11 to take part in a Mock interview with external interviewers. This will be on Wednesday 18th October and will involve students preparing a letter of application and a CV for a job chosen from a range of suggestions - from lawyer or nurse to IT support worker, from accountant or engineer to mechanic or childcare assistant.
Students will come to school in smart clothes appropriate for an interview; they will need to attend the specified venue on time and after the interview will receive supportive feedback. This is an important part of preparing our Year 11s for their next step - all will face interviews in the coming year - whether for College; part-time jobs or apprenticeships.
Kingsdown School is extremely grateful to our volunteers from the local business community who give up their time to support our students.
