KINGSDOWN 5 CASTLE SCHOOL 1

Kingsdown played Castle School from Bristol in the Third Round of the English Schools Football Association uner 13 individual schools cup.

The team started superbly well dominating possession in the early part of the game.

Castle school defended well for the first 15 minutes of the game but Kingsdown forwards displayed excellent skills and soon Kingsdown were 2-0 in front with two well taken goals. Late in the first half Castle school started to come back into the match but by half time Kingsdown were leading 3-1.

The first 10 minutes of the second half was dominated by Castle school but Kingsdown defended well and mid way through the second half scored 2 quick goals to go into a 5-1 lead which Castle school did not challenge again.  Kingsdown displayed their strength in depth by bringing on all substitutes to ensure they ran out confident winners. 

The 4th round draw takes place this week.
