In September 2009, Kingsdown School will embrace an exciting new concept to enthuse, motivate, encourage and reward students.

Vivo Miles will be awarded to students who produce good work, attend regularly and represent the school.

Training for staff and students will be rolled out during the first few weeks of the new academic year to explain how the system works. Points can be exchanged using the website (www.vivomiles.com) for a selection of goods from an online catalogue. Prizes will be despatched immediately to the school and distributed to students.

Teachers will award Vivos for:

Consistent work/effort over a period of time
Outstanding work/effort
Outstanding contribution to school life
Positive attitude to learning
Good attendance
