Kingsdown School has its own distinctive uniform. There are good reasons for this, the most important is that a uniform helps us to create a sense of community and establish a working environment. In a large school like this it is also of considerable benefit for security reasons, to have students wearing school uniform. A school uniform also removes distractions which may be caused by an individual’s style of dress and allows students to concentrate on learning. We have kept our uniform smart but simple. Lost property
Items which are found are handed in to the Front Office. If anyone loses an item they should reclaim this from the Front Office at morning break.
