KSFA Quiz Night
Thankyou to everyone who came along to a very entertaining Quiz Night on Thursday 7th July 2011.

During the eveing a cheque for £3059 was presented to Kingsdown School which will be used as part of the forthcoming refurbishment of the Learning Resource Centre.

KSFA
The Kingsdown School Friends Association, generally known as the KSFA, works hard behind the scenes to support the running of many school events and to raise funds for Faculties to purchase extra resources to enhance the teaching and learning at Kingsdown School.

Events which the KSFA organises annually :

Quiz Night (June).

Year 7 Disco (October)

Year 11 Prom Fair (November)

All these events are held to raise much needed funds for the school. For example, KSFA recently donated £3059 towards a new carpet for the Learning Resource Centre (the Library).

The KSFA members also regularly attend concerts and other events to serve refreshments to parents and students. Examples of these events are: Summer Concert, Christmas Concert, Young Musicians, Welcome Evening and Year 6 Curriculum evening.
