Wrap up warm for outdoor PE lessons
|
Due to the very cold weather that we have been experiencing recently, and with weather forecasters predicting that this may continue until the end of the month, it is important that students are fully prepared for PE lessons.
Each lesson we normally teach four classes, two of them indoors and two classes are always programmed to be outdoors. Students are well aware that they are either indoors or outside.
Providing our playing surfaces are not frozen we will continue to take classes outside, and we therefore recommend that students wear clothing which is appropriate for physical activity and is warm e.g. gloves, hat, tracksuit trousers, extra layers under their rugby shirt and red jumper/ jacket (Girls). Many students have already taken the initiative on this, but some are still arriving unprepared for the conditions.

Year 8 French/German Trip Payments
|
|
The next payment of £50 for the Year 8 German and French trips is due on Friday 3rd February 2012. Payments need to be placed in the school safe in an envelope stating your child’s name and German or French Trip. Thank you for your support.

Wednesday 8th February 2012 is Year 10 Parent/Teacher consultation evening.
Parents and Carers who have not yet obtained a login id and password for SIMs Learning Gateway (SLG) are asked to bring some form of indentification. Please see attached letter.
