Hello and welcome to Kingsdown School.
Transition is an important process here and the strong links we build with both students and parents begins in Year 5. We make sure our students are made to feel welcome and that they are inducted with lots of support from staff and students alike. Everything is set up to ensure beginning at Kingsdown is an exciting experience but one that won't be too nerve wracking! We look forward to visiting primaries this year and meeting our new in take in the summer,

There are many stages to the induction process which is put in place to ensure an efficient transition both academically and socially for children.
The stages of the process are outlined below:
