On the 4th March 2009 at Kingsdown School the whole of Year 8 had a citizenship day.
The whole of Year 8 did lots of activities revolving around politics. We learnt a lot about politics and how elections work and lots of people that are involved in the political parties.
We enjoyed everything we learned but the thing we enjoyed most was at the end of the school day we had our own little election on lots of different things. For example my group had an election for no homework whereas others elected for no more school uniform etc.
