Science - Separate Sciences

Separate Sciences

We will be offering selected students the opportunity to obtain 3 GCSE grades in science. The majority of the modules are identical to those taught in core and additional science with 2 units in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Students will be entered for exams in the January and June and will have to complete 3 pieces of coursework.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE STUDENTS START SEPARATE SCIENCES IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO CHANGE BACK TO CORE AND ADDITIONAL SCIENCE AS THE ORDER IN WHICH THE MODULES ARE EXAMINED IS VERY DIFFERENT. STUDENTS WHO ACCEPT THIS OFFERED OPPORTUNITY MUST BE CLEAR THAT THE COURSES ARE DEMANDING.
