British Heart Foundation - Gardeners Question Time

The British Heart Foundation is holding a Gardeners Question Time fund raising event at Kingsdown School on Friday 4th March 2011, commencing at 7:30pm. A panel of experts will be on hand to answer your questions on gardening and horticulture, wildlife in the garden, maintenance and general advice.

Tickets for this event are £7.50 and can be obtained from Lynne Ludlow on 01793 814867.

Free parking will be available on site. There will be a raffle and refreshments will be available.

All funds raised from this event will go to the British Heart Foundation.

The panel for the evening consists of :

Tim Jefferies
Tim Jefferies family have been in horticulture since 1795. He is primarily a seedsman, having been involved in and run a family nursery and shop in Cirencester all his life until retirement. An experienced gardening broadcaster, Tim is now retired but his interest continues spending much of his time looking after an 11 acre wildlife reserve.

Chris Evans
A well known and highly respected speaker, Cheltenham based Chris Evans is the owner of a 60 year old family run Nursery and Garden Centre. Chris was raised on the site and has been there ever since.

Norman Jeffery
Our chair for the evening will be Norman Jeffery. A keen gardener for over 40 years, Norman is a speaker for the National Gardens Scheme and is also their County Organiser for Gloucestershire. He and his wife Tricia instigated the formation of the Highworth Gardening Club where he is currently Chairman.
